Teaser: there’s a lot happening in downtown Minneapolis. For several years, Pitch has helped spread the word for Minneapolis Public Works, Minneapolis Community Planning and Economic Development, minneapolis downtown council, and the Minneapolis Downtown Improvement District. For a city that’s seen its biggest decade for growth since the 1920s, it demands a PR team that can keep up, think ahead and deliver them on time and on budget.

Long before the bulldozers tore up Nicollet Mall, Pitch was helping communicate the countless steps of renovating a complete mile in the middle of the city. From organizing community meetings, managing media appearances for the world-class architect who designed the project to telling the many stories along the way of the major renovation, we were continuously finding ways to keep the reporting timely and engaging. Substantially complete? We call it a substantial success.

Working side-by-side with the minneapolis downtown council, Pitch steps in each summer to provide PR for the Best Days of Summer – the four-day Aquatennial. That means coffee and donuts for morning live shots, stuffing bags for media drops, keeping a steady stream of buzz going and constantly being on-call, proving that public relations is a lifestyle, not a job.
